Meet Alexis

I am working on finishing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My style has more of a casual, peer-to-peer feel as I have a lot of personal experience with most of the adversity life can offer and feel this style lends itself well to building rapport and trust with my clients. I prefer a humanistic, whole person approach rather than pathologizing labels, but sometimes labels can also be helpful to name and normalize the struggles someone may go through in life. While I don’t have my master’s degree yet, I have an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts with a special certification in Addiction Treatment, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health, a level three state certification in addiction treatment (CADC III), and am certified through UC Berkeley in Sleep Therapy. I have personal and professional experience with addiction and recovery, mild/moderate mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and panic disorder, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ and identity navigation, stress and burnout.

I have been working in the mental/behavioral health field for about 5 years now and continue to build on my experience working with a wide range of clients. The bulk of this experience so far has been with adults of all ages, but I am excited to gain more experience with couples, families, and children. The therapeutic approaches I utilize are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic work and mindfulness, spirituality, emotionally focused therapy, and internal family systems (parts work). My philosophy is that all humans need some sense of meaning and purpose to motivate them and create their personal definition of happiness and success in life, whatever that means to them. I aim to help clients achieve this by exploring their personal identity and encouraging them to take action steps.

I look forward to working with you.

Meet Lanelle

Hello! My name is Lanelle and I am a pre licensed intern psychotherapist currently completing my graduate studies at Antioch University Santa Barbara. My approach is grounded in the belief that each person is the expert of their own lived experience and to treat each individual holistically: mind, body and soul. My deepest intention in the therapeutic dynamic is to always meet clients with compassion and curiosity regardless of where they are in their journey. In our work together, my role is not to tell you who to be or what choices to make. Rather, I strive to walk alongside you as you deepen your understanding of yourself and your experiences.

My therapeutic approach draws from Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Based practices, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Object Relations Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Inner Child work. I tailor my approach to each individual, honoring the unique needs, strengths and experiences they bring into the therapeutic space.

I have experience working with children, individuals, couples, and people navigating significant life challenges including homelessness and high acuity mental health concerns such as psychosis or disruptive personality disorders. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and particularly resonate in working with individuals who identify as spiritually inclined or who wish to explore spirituality as a meaningful aspect of their healing journey.

I believe healing extends beyond the therapy room. Nature, meaningful community and authentic somatic expression can be powerful sources of growth and resilience. As appropriate, I may incorporate mindfulness practices, breathing exercises, grounding techniques and meditation to help clients cultivate greater self awareness and emotional regulation.

Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, intimidating, or uncertain. I want you to know that you do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whatever you may be carrying, you are not “too much.” My intention is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges and move toward greater healing, authenticity, and well being.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Burnout and stress, Identity development, Family dynamics, Family conflict, Self-esteem/self-worth, Attachment issues, LGBTQ+ mental health, Racial or cultural identity, Spirituality, Attachment, Women’s issues, Communication Skills, Addiction and Recovery, Existential issues

Approaches:

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, Humanistic / Client-centered, Strengths-based, Trauma-informed care, Culturally responsive therapy

Meet Scott M.

I received my M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis on Nature-Based Counseling through Prescott College and have been providing therapeutic support for individuals, couples, and families since 2023. Before I stepped into my current role, I facilitated outdoor programs as a naturalist-mentor. It was during this time that I began to see how building internal skills that promote creativity and awareness can have a strong therapeutic potential. I incorporate mindfulness-based and emotionally focused practices to assist in fostering deeper sense of meaning and connection to ourselves and the world around us. I believe therapy is most beneficial when a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative space is created between the therapist and those seeking support. It is in this environment that true growth and healing can take place. I look forward to working together to find what that looks like for you.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and loss, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Burnout and stress, Identity development, Self-esteem/self-worth, Neurodivergence – Autism, Neurodivergence – ADHD, Attachment, OCD, Existential issues

Meet Kristen

I believe all pain stems from disconnection. Disconnection from self, others, and a greater belonging to the natural world. As a social species, we need love and support from one another to thrive and co-create a felt sense of safety. I view trauma as the fragmentation of painful experiences that get stuck within the body. Utilizing talk therapy, somatic, and mindfulness-based practices we will gently untangle what is keeping you stuck to create a more integrated sense of wholeness. Whether you are struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship problems, or a life transition, I am honored to assist you in making meaningful internal and external change to co-create a life of fulfillment, connection, ease, and purpose. I value collaboration and use an integrative approach to tailor the style of therapy to fit your needs and goals. Together we will move through and learn from life’s difficulties to engender more harmony within yourself, your relationships, and your environment.

Meet Pari

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to people’s stories, curious about how we make sense of our inner worlds, and what becomes possible when someone truly listens. That curiosity is what I bring into the space with each client.

I’m currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Saint Joseph’s University. My work is grounded in a relational, person-centered approach that integrates talk therapy with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.

Healing happens in relationship and that therapy can be a space where all parts of you are welcomed: emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual. That journey looks different for everyone, whether it’s untangling patterns that no longer serve you, healing from loss or transition, or finding your way back to yourself. In my experience, growth asks for presence, self-compassion, and a willingness to gently explore what is ready to be known.

I’m especially drawn to supporting people navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relational wounds, and the quiet but persistent feeling of being disconnected from yourself. Through attuned listening and care, I hope to co-create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported, and where you leave with tools that stay with you.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me hiking, paddle boarding, doing yoga, doodling or sitting somewhere in the sun with friends and family. I believe deeply in the healing power of nature and movement, and that reconnecting to the body is its own form of wisdom.

Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and loss, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Burnout and stress, Identity development, Family dynamics, Family conflict, Self-esteem/self-worth, Attachment issues, LGBTQ+ mental health, Racial or cultural identity, Chronic illness or pain, Separation/Divorce, Attachment, Women’s issues, Communication Skills, Motherhood, Postpartum, Existential issues

Meet Charlie

I am currently finishing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. As a therapist, I am inspired to help clients experience deeper self-acceptance, which I believe is the foundation for healing and growth. With greater acceptance, we can meet life’s challenges with more calmness, confidence, and curiosity.

My approach is relational and collaborative. I work flexibly and adapt to each client’s needs. While every person’s journey is unique, I often integrate inner child work and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for those who are interested. I also draw from Gestalt, Client-Centered, and Mindfulness-based therapies. At the heart of my work, I value client autonomy and the innate wisdom within each individual, rather than any single method.

I also view therapy through a liberatory lens, recognizing that personal struggles often intersect with the realities of an unjust world. My commitment is to support each person with compassion, respect, and openness.

No matter what brings you to therapy, I will meet you where you are. Together, we will begin making positive changes in both your inner and outer life.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and loss, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Identity development, Family dynamics, Family conflict, Self-esteem/self-worth, LGBTQ+ mental health, Spirituality, Chronic illness or pain, Neurodivergence – ADHD, Communication Skills, Faith Issues

Meet Amelia

We are all capable of transformation and shedding patterns that no longer serve us. I am passionate about supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, the echoes of past trauma, as well as people who are simply navigating the turmoils of being human.  I also have a deep interest in somatic work. I am fascinated with how our bodies hold trauma and emotions, and how connecting to our physical selves can open the door to healing.

It takes tremendous courage, vulnerability, and hope to look inward, which is why I am constantly in awe of those who choose to enter therapy. As a student completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies, I view my role as a compassionate listener who can help individuals by co-creating a safe space that allows them to uncover the wisdom and strength that already reside within them.

For healing to take place … it has to happen not only in the realm of our thinking, but in the soil of our bodies.” – Prentis Hemphill

Meet Raven

I help couples and individuals who feel stuck in cycles of disconnection, low desire, or sexual tension find their way to safety, intimacy, and something authentic. Mismatched libidos, painful intimacy, infidelity recovery, or the quiet distance that can build over time, my work focuses on healing the nervous system and rebuilding authentic connection—so that love can feel nourishing again. Couples often seek me when they are looking for a different approach—something that lands differently and interrupts their loop of disconnection.

As a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate in California and a doctoral student in clinical sexology, I specialize in guiding clients to identify looping or hidden patterns—often shaped by childhood trauma and then offering practical alternatives. I work to interrupt the nervous system’s imprint of disconnection. My approach blends somatic therapy, neuroscience, Tantra-inspired practices, and communication frameworks to create new relational blueprints.

I address 3 of the biggest Myths of Marriage:

“Love is enough for a marriage to last.” Consider: it also takes effort, prioritization, and intimacy skills to navigate the terrain of connection—many marriages fail despite deep love.

“Sexual desire is spontaneous—it either happens or it doesn’t.” Consider: sexual engagement and arousal are like muscles; you need to know how to “work out” at the intimacy gym to develop them.

“Fighting means the relationship is failing.” Consider: relationships often fail because partners never learn how to argue well and move easily into repair. Healthy relationships may argue, but those who argue repair quickly and effectively.

Intimacy isn’t about perfection or even being happily married— it’s about freedom in being authentic, wherever the marriage is, then moving in choice from there.

I’m not just a talking therapist; I’m a somatic, body-aware therapist—paying attention not only to what you say but also to how your body says it. Example exercises may integrate breathwork, listening exercises, or body awareness to rebuild trust and reignite curiosity and play. Currently accepting couples & individuals.

Areas of Focus:

Meet Marissa

My approach to therapy is soul-centered and spiritually inclined, grounded in the belief that challenges, obstacles, and pain are powerful opportunities for growth and transformation. As Carl Jung wrote, “There can be no transforming of darkness into light and of apathy into movement without emotion.” I hold this truth closely, trusting that our emotions—both light and heavy—can guide us toward healing when met with presence and compassion.

I believe therapy is a co-created process. Together, we identify meaningful goals while honoring your unique journey. I see my role as both guide and witness, walking alongside you with deep respect for the wisdom and resilience you bring. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this process and continually inspired by the courage of my clients.

I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you can feel seen, supported, and free to explore your authentic self. Through curiosity, trust, and meaningful exploration, healing becomes not only possible but transformative—an alchemical process that allows pain to be reshaped into strength, wisdom, and renewal.

Meet Carissa

The stories we carry can reveal how we understand ourselves, what we value, what has shaped us, and what may still be difficult to put into words. I’m interested in the ways those stories also appear through the music, films, books, images, memories, and other forms of expression that stay with us. Sometimes what resonates with us can become a useful way into something we have not yet been able to name directly.

I’m currently a third-year student completing my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy at California Institute of Integral Studies. My approach is integrative, grounded primarily in humanistic, existential, and narrative therapy, with a collaborative, curious, and creative style. I see therapy as a place to understand what is happening beneath the surface, make sense of patterns and experiences, and explore what feels important enough to protect, change, strengthen, or move toward.

Within an integrated expressive arts framework, I may draw from music, film and character reflection, art and image cards, books and literary reflection, and poetry-based language arts practices. These forms can give us additional ways to notice patterns, externalize experiences, explore different perspectives, or find language for something that has been difficult to articulate directly. A lyric, character, poem, image, book passage, metaphor, or piece of writing can sometimes make an internal experience clearer and give us something concrete to work with together.

In our work, I aim to be warm, direct, grounded, and genuinely collaborative. I value emotional safety, choice, and pacing, while also offering structure and thoughtful questions when they can help bring clarity to experiences that feel confusing, stuck, or difficult to organize. Therapy does not have to look the same for every person; I am interested in finding ways of working that fit how each client naturally thinks, communicates, creates meaning, and engages with the world.

My background includes behavioral health, creative and performance-based spaces, child-centered and relational work, and experience adapting across different environments and communities. These experiences have deepened my interest in how people make meaning of what they have lived through, recognize the patterns shaping their lives, and develop a clearer sense of voice, agency, and direction.

Meet Elizabeth

My name is Elizabeth Gray, and I’m glad you found your way here.

Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and whether this is your first time or you’re finding your way back, I want you to know there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. I’m not here to fix you, and whatever brought you to this moment, I would be honored to support you.

In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are and bring my whole self to the process — staying present, curious, and unhurried at whatever pace feels right for you. I believe that the hard stuff — the challenges, the grief, the places where we feel most stuck — often holds the greatest potential for growth. Together, we’ll find the path forward, and you won’t have to walk it alone.

The relationship we build is a key part to real healing — so here’s a little about me.

I’m a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently completing my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. I’m warm, sensitive, curious, spiritual, and deeply non-judgmental — and a little anxious and nervous at times (which I hope makes me good at understanding what it feels like to sit in that chair!). I’m a white (British and Scottish heritage), heterosexual, cisgender woman from a middle-class background who is able-bodied, and I hold this identity with awareness of the privileges it carries.

Outside of sessions, I love walking my dog Manchi, cooking a new meal, laughing, reading poetry, playing tennis, going to bed early, watching a really good movie, and hiking in the redwoods.

Whenever you’re ready, I’d love to connect.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Grief and loss, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Burnout and stress, Family dynamics, Family conflict, Self-esteem/self-worth, Attachment issues, Chronic illness or pain, Attachment, Religious Trauma, OCD, Women’s issues, Communication Skills, Existential issues

I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit.

My work is inspired by Jungian and Hillmanian psychotherapy, expressive arts, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and ritual. Many of my clients are educators, entrepreneurs, leaders, seekers, or individuals who are beginning to sense new aspects of themselves emerging and calling for attention. Meet Sacha

My work as a therapist is shaped by lived experience, clinical training, and a deep respect for the complexity and resilience of the human psyche. From an early age, I witnessed the powerful impact that attuned, compassionate support can have on individuals and families, as well as the lasting effects when such care is absent. These experiences continue to inform how I show up with presence, steadiness, and care in the therapeutic space.

I take a person-centered, integrative approach grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and emotional safety. My clinical work draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based practices, humanistic psychology, strengths-based frameworks, and narrative therapy. Together, we can explore internal patterns, emotional experiences, and protective strategies with the goal of increasing self-understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful change.

Sessions are reflective, insight-oriented, and guided by what feels most alive and relevant in the moment. I aim to balance spaciousness with gentle structure, supporting clients in deepening awareness, strengthening internal motivation, and accessing their own inner resources at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable.

I strive to create a grounded, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported in exploring their experiences with honesty and depth. I am attentive to how personal history, relational dynamics, cultural context, and values shape one’s inner world and ways of coping.

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Meridian University and provide therapeutic services under the supervision of Melinda Kincaid, LMFT, at Sacred Path Holistic Therapy.

If you are interested in working together, please feel free to reach out for a complimentary consultation. I currently offer therapy sessions via telehealth only.

Michael Waldman, AMFT

Meet Michael

I’m Michael. I specialize in working with clients to delve deeply within their psyche, exploring ways to uncover and understand themselves better. Everyone has the right to find peace with the world around them. Sometimes the life we find ourselves living can seem at odds with the one we would like to live. Life is too short to let stress, anxiety, and depression rob us of the opportunity to experience the life we deserve. Each of these, all to common sentiments, leads to deep psychological and emotional pain. My sincere hope is that we can work together to uncover where these feelings come from and then begin an inspired journey toward self-discovery and eventually a life of purpose, fulfillment, and peace of mind. This process can be intimidating but what lies on the other side is so worth it. My therapeutic style relies on empathy and compassion to guide you through this process.

I have extensive experience working with people suffering from addiction. I am passionate about helping people transition from one phase of life to the next, be it adolescence to adulthood or mid-life. Although these phases are sometimes wrought with internal conflict and confusion, they also represent important markers and opportunities for self-discovery. They are the gateways to a life well lived.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and loss, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Burnout and stress, Identity development, Family dynamics, Family conflict, Self-esteem/self-worth, Attachment issues, Spirituality, Chronic illness or pain, Separation/Divorce, Neurodivergence – Autism, Neurodivergence – ADHD, Attachment, Religious Trauma, OCD, Sex and Intimacy, Communication Skills, Sexual Dysfunctions, Parenting, Faith Issues, Addiction and Recovery, Motherhood, Postpartum, Existential issues

Meet Naomi

If you want more balance, connection, and understanding in your relationships with yourself and others, you are in the right place. I am glad you are here.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. There are many approaches, and it can be hard to know what will help. I am here to help you find what works for you and meet you where you are.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and APCC in California. I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I believe that listening to our inner wisdom can reveal the patterns and stories beneath the surface. These insights can help us find balance and understanding in our lives.

I value connection and wholeness, even in our imperfections. I create a safe space to explore your experiences. My work draws from somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), family systems, attachment theory, and experiential approaches.

I guide clients in compassionate self-exploration, helping them notice patterns, understand themselves better, and embrace their full selves. If you are a high achiever looking for insight, growth, and balance, I encourage you to reach out.

Areas of Focus:

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and loss, Relationship issues, Life transitions, Identity development, Self-esteem/self-worth, Attachment issues, Spirituality, Chronic illness or pain, Separation/Divorce, Neurodivergence – ADHD, Attachment, Sex and Intimacy, Women’s issues, Communication Skills, Parenting, Motherhood, Existential issues

Meet Galia

My name is Galia Nitzan. I hold a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and am currently working towards a master’s in counseling psychology at the Pacifica Graduate Institute. Every healing journey is uniquely one’s own. My passion lies in exploring the ways that inner awareness and self-attunement informs our personal paths of healing and transformation. With great tenderness and compassion, individuals are invited to explore and discover anew the places they experience as being broken, frozen, or stuck.

Drawing on my lifetime of experience in the field of complex and relational trauma,  depression, anxiety, and addiction, our work together will cultivate the skills and resources you need to create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilled. We will utilize body-oriented, somatic, and talk therapies together with expressive arts, journaling, visioning, and dreamwork. My approach draws on the wisdom to be found in relational and depth psychologies, and in soul-centered, psychodynamic traditions that explore the unconscious and messages from the psyche. I look forward to making this journey with you and supporting you in embracing your unique path, one that ignites your passion and fuels your purpose.
